    General NewsI'll make it quick, it's late. The finals of the software design competition were today. We had to make a poster about a design for some forums and present it. I came 2nd, winning a $2000 scholarship and a 512mb ipod shuffle, even though my poster sucked. On the way home, my dad shouted me a book on 3d math. The competition was a bit nerve wracking, but ms Taylor, Heather, Calum, Jane and Patrick turned up to support me at the end. Thanks guys, and congrats on your awards! Andrew also recieved some good news, his team did win the programming competition after all and he'll be going to tokyo for the finals in march next year.

    And finally, if anyone who participated in the design competition has been stalking me using this site (my dads boat? got random?), please speak up.

    Thanks guys!

    It wasn't just a poster, the design problem we were supposed to solve was how to stop people from posting homework questions on the forum. And we had to speak about our design in front of the group for 3/4 minutes I think it was, without even a practice. So basically, it combined my two weakest points (or so I thought). Turns out I'm actually not too bad at public speaking, as long as I know what I'm talking about (yeah, that's not often). No one could believe that, cause as a general rule I don't talk.

    Gah... Well I spose now I'm famous I have to expect the odd stalker :P. How 'bout you give me your name, address, email/msn, phone number(s), web address, date of birth, ird number, credit card number, a photo, finger prints and a retinal scan so I can return the favour. Skin colour isn't much to go on.
