If you're at this page, either I have linked you here or someone who I linked here has linked you. Either way, this page will give the ability to share information with someone very securely using encryption.
Encryption is a way of mangling text where it can only be unmangled if you know the key it was mangled with. So here's how it works:
Decide on a key with the person you want to communicate with. This key can be any number that isn't too long. Make sure you both know it. Then, enter the text you want to encrypt into the java applet bellow, set the key you are using (next to the button) and push the Encrypt/Decrypt button. This will mangle the text into something totally unreadable (unless the key is 0 or invalid). No one, not even me, can read this text without knowing or guessing your key. Give the text to the person you are communicating with by any electronic method. If you print it it won't really work...
The person who recieves the mangled text just has to paste it into the top box, enter the same key, and press Encrypt/Decrypt. Encryption and decryption are done by exactly the same method, so you don't have to tell it which one you want.
